Software

I run a 2018 mac mini 3.2ghz i7 with OSX Mojave. I’ve got Pro Tools, Logic, and Ableton Live with a variety of the most commonly used plugins including Universal Audio, Native Instruments, FabFilter, iZotope, Soundtoys, and ValhallaDSP, as well as a few oddballs. I have a mesh wifi network and use dropbox and google drive for backups as well as 4TB+ of HD storage on site. Feel free to get in touch about specific plugins or programs.

Hardware

My AD/DA hub is a UA Apollo 8. I have 8 additional headphone amps, a motu 8pre and Midi Express XT, and Yamaha HS8 speakers. For microphones I use a Sphere L22 modeling mic for maximum flexibility, a pair of Mojave M100 small diaphragm tube condensers for percussion and acoustic instruments, a pair of Audio Techinca AT4050 Large Diaphragm Condenser mics and a bunch of sure SM57s of course. I also have a rotating selection of synthesizers and drum machines that range from studio standbys like the Moog Sub37, Korg Minilogue, and Roland TR8-S to a Casio SK-1 and a Yamaha PS-20. I’ve got a great selection of instruments that will enhance your creative experience, from acoustic and electric guitars and basses, mandolin, ukulele, and violin to a full Yamaha Stage Custom 5-piece drum kit and a 150-year-old upright piano. Record full takes, samples, or bring your own stuff and see how it sounds through my pedals and FX!
